A neighbor you know
Rebecca Lobl is a 34-year Pacific Palisades resident, wife, mother of two children raised in the Palisades, small business owner and retired attorney.
Rebecca and her husband are rebuilding their home at 514 Muskingum Avenue, which was destroyed in the Palisades Fire. While rebuilding, they continue to live in the neighborhood on Almar Avenue.
Rebecca is running for PPCC Area 4 Representative to bring energy, experience and a collaborative spirit to the work ahead. She will listen, advocate and ensure El Medio residents are represented in decisions affecting the neighborhood.
Her goal is clear: help rebuild a safer, more fire-resilient community while preserving everything that makes El Medio such a special place to live.
Community leadership
Since July 2025, Rebecca has served as a Team Palisades Neighborhood Representative for El Medio.
Organized neighborhood brush-clearance efforts to help reduce risk and improve safety.
Helped persuade City Hall to waive rebuilding permit fees for affected residents.
Coordinated meetings on resilient rebuilding, home hardening, insurance, security, building standards and private fire protection.
Publishes the El Medio Newsletter with timely updates and important community information.
A safer future
Rebecca is working with another El Medio neighbor to establish the neighborhood as a Firewise USA® Community. Their three-year action plan centers on education, home hardening, defensible space, vegetation management and evacuation planning.
The goal is to make El Medio safer while improving residents’ ability to obtain affordable homeowners’ insurance.
“Most importantly, I want to work with you and for you. Together, we can rebuild a stronger, safer and more connected community for generations to come.”
